Chuck Dortenzio

Chuck DortenzioChuck Dortenzio joins our team as a successful automotive dealership executive with twenty-five years in the industry. As the Fixed Operations Director for Key Hyundai in Connecticut, Chuck and his team are responsible for over sixty million dollars in annual sales with gross profits above the industry standards all while ranking very high in customer satisfaction. Prior to his current position Chuck worked as a consultant and trainer who was directly responsible for over one hundred automotive customers while providing both technical and sales training throughout Connecticut. Chuck’s strengths are in process development, process implementation, and analysis of results. He feels that you should always listen to your gut, but check your numbers before you make a move. He believes that there is only one thing that is important in building a successful customer service business; what is right for the customer? That question, answered within the business plan, will make every business successful.

Chuck served the State of Connecticut as a member of the First Company Governor’s Footguard for ten years reaching the rank of First Sargent. The First Company is the oldest, continuously serving, military organization in the country, chartered in 1771. In addition to his time volunteered for the state, Chuck volunteers time to help fundraise for Xavier High School, Mercy High School, Whitetails Unlimited, PKD, JDRF, and The Sgt. Steven DeLuzio Scholarship fund. Married to Charleen, a manager with Cigna, for 23 years, they have two children. His son, a college freshman was a nationally competitive archer and high school rifle shooter, helping his team win the state championship in 2016. His daughter, a high school junior was a regionally competitive Irish step dancer and nationally competitive archer. They both dedicate their summers to working at the local YMCA summer camp.
Chuck is looking forward to contributing to B.R.A.V.E. in any way he can.
